Pre-Wedding Beauty and De-Stressing Plan
Six months before
- Begin a stress-relief regimen by reserving at least one night a week for non-wedding fun or quiet time
- Get serious about skin care. Start a cleansing and moisturizing program
- Use our skin care coach on a monthly basis
- Start or continue excercising and eating healthy (Yoga is a great way to keep in shape and less stressed)
- Wear sunscreen
Four months before
- All of the above plus...
- Make consultation appointments with make-up artists
- Make consultation appointments with hair dressers
- If considering self-tanning, remember the neckline as well as the back of the dress (how much will be showing?)
- Wear sunscreen
- Drink 8 X 8 oz, or 8 2.5 mL glasses of water every day
- Get plenty of rest
Two months before
- All of the above plus...
- Meet with your make-up artist for trial run
- Meet with your hairdresser for trial run (bring your veil)
- Drink less coffee and tea (they darken your teeth)
- Use whitening toothpaste or whitening system from your dentist
Two weeks before
- All of the above plus...
- Get your final haircut and/or color
- Remove salt and fat from your diet (it causes water retention)
- Exfoliate and moisturize elbows, hands and feet
One week before
- All of the above plus...
- Avoid over endulging in alcohol
- Get eyebrows shaped and wax your legs and bikini (maybe even a brazilian if you don't normally do it!)
- Have a massage and reflexology treatment (maybe invite your fiance)
Three days before
- Get a Botanical Skin Resurfacing to make your skin radiate
One day before
- Deep condition your hair
- Exfoliate your skin with products you are familiar with
- Get a professional manicure and pedicure
- Take a relaxing bath
- Pack an emergency beauty kit of items you cannot do without!
